Around 12,000 enthusiasts, collectors and students visited Expominer, the biggest trade fair in southern Europe for buying, selling and exchanging minerals, fossils and precious stones.

The event generated numerous sales, and children were able to learn about mineralogy and palaeontology through a range of entertaining activities.
